THALASSO beauty from the sea
It doesn’t always have to be the sea that brings out the restorative properties of this therapy – the same effect is achieved at Warmbad with its thermal water combined with the fresh alpine air and enchanting countryside.
The basis of the therapy naturally does have to come from the sea: the secret of thalassotherapy’s beneficial impact lies in the inconspicuous plants that you are bound to have seen and smelt on walks along the beach. Of course, the valuable seaweed used in thalassotherapy is very special.
Twelve different types are harvested from the cool Breton seawater every day and processed with the utmost care. A dermatologist and venereologist who organises training courses for other physicians, Dr. Markus Kristen has not only gained years of experience in general and angiological, but also in aesthetic and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Markus Kristen has specialised in the area of conventional liposuction under local anaesthesia (tumescent technique) with vibrating cannula and also in superficial liposuction for the sweat glands in the armpits, which he performs as well as surgery on eyelids, varicose veins, protruding ears, scars, hair transplants, etc. in the modern, fully equipped operating theatres at a hospital near his surgery in Warmbad-Villach.
